I decided to have an old mountain bike converted to electric to recover from surgery that I had. After receiving excellent advice, I decided to go for the 750W BaFang Mid Drive motor. I was massively impressed at the quality of the work done. Being an early 2000’s frame it’s incredible how well integrated the conversion is. In reality, I was expecting it to look like an aftermarket conversion, but the cable routing and attention to detail makes it look almost, if not quite, like it was built that way in the first place. I’ve had a few niggles with my free hub that I damaged by myself, but I’ve been able to take it back and get adjusted no problems at all. I would highly recommend both for servicing normal road, bikes and ebike conversion.

Neil has just serviced my BBS02 replacing bearings pinion gear and nylon gear.
